One Punch Man Manga Chapter 17
Garo’s vicious fight against the heroes ends in an unexpected way in One-Punch Man manga volume 17 Garo’s desolation over Tareo’s death is cut short when Saitama kills him. Garo learns how to time travel; God smites him. He travels back in time and defeats Garo before he can kill the heroes, depriving him of his monster mutation and cosmic power. When Tareo intervenes, Saitama spares and allows Garo to get away, despite the other heroes protesting. The only one who retains the full memories of the original sinister future caused by Garo is Genos, who reestablished his core with the original timeline that was brought back by Saitama (who made no mention of his fight and time travel with original Garo).
