One-Punch Man Season 3 Drops Epic First Trailer Confirming the Anime’s Release Window

The wait is over: One-Punch Man season 3 finally has an official release window, along with a first promotional trailer. Fans of the hit manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata have been waiting for almost six years to get a solid announcement of when the next installment of the anime would come out, and they finally have an answer.

Season 3 of One-Punch Man will be released in October 2025. The announcement came as part of the celebrations for the tenth anniversary of the anime. The promotional video, while short, is still exciting because it puts the focus on “the strongest”, the S-Class heroes who will take center stage during this much-anticipated third season.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Will Focus on the S-Class Heroes

The Most Exciting Part of the Story Is About to Begin

One-Punch Man became a resounding success thanks to its unique blend of the most exciting superpowered action and the most hilarious comedy. Based on the webcomic created by ONE, which was then remade as a manga written by the same author and drawn by Yusuke Murata, the first season of the anime, produced by Madhouse Studio, was an instant sensation and helped grow the popularity of the franchise. The second season, produced by J.C. Studio, was criticized for the drastic drop in animation quality, but that did not make the wait easier for fans of the series. The studio already stated that they are committed to making this new season perfect, so there is reason to hope.

J.C. Studio is returning for the third season, along with the voice-acting cast, but fans hope that the long time taken to produce this installment means that the quality will be as high as the story deserves. Season 3 of One-Punch Man will cover the Monster Association arc, a non-stop sequence of thrilling battles between the strongest members of the Hero Association, the S-Class heroes, and the fearsome Executives of the Monster Association, led by the almost-unbeatable Orochi and Psykos. Saitama will, of course, also return, and the story will culminate in his showdown with the “hero hunter” Garou (but this is unlikely to appear in season 3 unless it will be significantly longer than expected).

While October is not exactly around the corner, this is the first time that One-Punch Man fans have had a date to look forward to in almost six years. It’s unusual for an anime to get only three seasons in ten years, but the support and following that the series has prove just how good the product is. Behind its bombastic and goofy exterior, One-Punch Man is one of the best manga to come out in recent years, and fans hope that this third season of the anime will be up to these high standards.
