Saitama rescues Suiryu, shrugging off Bakuzan’s attacks and killing him with a single punch. Suiryu warns Saitama about the Monster Association and urges him to avoid Gouketsu, but Saitama leaves to confront the monster. Off-screen, Genos is swiftly defeated by Gouketsu.

Saitama effortlessly kills Gouketsu, whose severed head lands near Suiryu. Saitama asks Suiryu to keep his tournament involvement secret. Inspired, Suiryu vows to become a hero and begs to be Saitama’s disciple, but is rejected.
